Ammonium carbonate
【Description】 White or colorless translucent lump or powder. It has irritating ammonia smell and is gradually changed into ammonium bicarbonate in the air. When heated to 550℃, it is decomposed into ammonia and carbon dioxide. It’s soluble in water, but decomposed in hot water (70℃), and insoluble in concentrated ammonia and ethanol.
