Calcium sulphate dihydrate
【Another name】Gypsum.
【Description】White monoclinic crystal or powder, relative density 2.32, melting point 1450℃. The loss of 1.5 crystal water at 128℃ is hemihydrate, and above 163℃ is anhydrous. Slightly soluble in water, soluble in acid, ammonium salt, sodium thiosulfate and glycerol, insoluble in alcohol.
